Chuao Assorted Chocopod 8-Piece Gift Set
Okay, obviously this is not a 8-piece gift set of chocolate, it’s only one, but I’m assuming it’s a sample of what comes in an assorted set. This was my lifestyle extra, and I couldn’t be happier. Chocolate? Yes, yes, yes, a million times yes. It’s amazing, and dark chocolate and orange is one of my favorite combinations ever. The back of the package boasts “only 50 calories each” which made me roll my eyes a little bit… Who cares? I’m eating chocolate. I’m not concerned.
Color Club nail lacquer in Top Shelf
Woohoo, more nail polish! I just painted my nails two days before getting my Birchbox, so I’ve yet to try it out, but I love this color so much. It seems to be a pretty good consistency and the sparkly color is just in time for the holidays.
TOCCA Crema de Mano in Cleopatra
I keep thinking about how much I need to go pick up a small bottle of hand lotion to bring to class with me, but I haven’t gotten around to it. Imagine my excitement to get this in the mail. From what I understand, creams and lotions are meant to do the same thing, but creams contain more oil than lotions. I am in love with how this smells, but I’m not a fan of how much I have to use in order to moisturize my hands. It seems to wear off pretty quickly, too, which I don’t like. I don’t think I’ll be running out to buy this anytime soon.
Vasanti Cosmetics: BrightenUp! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator
I’ve never gotten a facial before, and I generally don’t take care of my skin like I should, but I’m interested in this. Apparently it’s supposed to mimic the effects of microdermabrasion and smoothe out your skin. Right off the bat, it smells all right, but I am really disappointed in how little there is in this bottle. It’s already only 20g, but I would say that it’s probably only one-fourth filled with cream, so that’ll probably last about for maybe five uses. Not cool.
Chella Ivory Lace Highlighter Pencil
I haven’t gotten my eyebrows waxed in over a year, so getting this was both terrifying and encouraging. Half of me was like no, I can’t bring attention to these caterpillars! and the other half was going okay, now I have an excuse to take care of my eyebrows.. So we’ll see how this works out. I’ve never tried a highlighter pencil before, so chances are it’s going to take me awhile to figure out exactly how to apply it, but I think I’m excited about it.
