College is stressful, I get it. Of course managing five classes, a social life, work, and a sleep schedule can get stressful. However, I need to remember to stop, and give myself a break sometimes. I notice quite often that I get too caught up in the moment and forget to cherish the life I have, and the things that I love to do. Walking by a mirror that read “you look beautiful today” was enough to make me smile and forget about my hectic life for a brief second, and it wasn’t even a compliment from a real life person! From now on I am promising myself to be more optimistic, even in hectic times, and to also allow more time to do things I love doing. I would love for you to join me. We’d make a great team.
