Graduation is just around the corner and it is time for graduating seniors to become sentimental over these last 4 years. Here is a list of the top 5 things that we will miss the most!
1. The Quad
It may not be a city skyline but on a fall, spring, or even winter day we can’t help but take a picture from the Foellinger steps as we walk to class. The view is scenic and there is always something happening on the quad. It’s a great place to spread the word about an important cause or even just meet up with some friends. This view is absolutely one to miss!
2. Senior Night
After 3 years of paying cover at Lion and Kams, it is a right of passage as a senior to get out of cover when it is senior night at Kams or Lion. Not to mention, going out during the week most likely will not occur after graduation so that is something to miss as well. After graduation there are few things that will be cheap for us so this is definitely something that will be missed by graduating seniors!
3. Living With All Of Your Friends
There is nothing better than sharing a house/apartment or even sorority house with all of your friends. This is usually where the best and funniest memories are made. It’s time to get sentimental about living with your friends and make life lasting memories…since you probably won’t live with all of your friends like that again!
4. Free Time
College is the epitome of free time for some. Sure we have to study, write papers, and go to class but we aren’t working for 8 hours every day. It’s so nice to be able to sometimes take a nap in the middle of the day or even just spend time with friends in the middle of the day. Once we graduate and start our jobs, we will never get free time like this again…so take advantage of it!
5. Date Events
Even though there are events post graduation, there is nothing quite like barn dance or dress up themes. After graduate these types of events may be few and far between; so as annoying as finding a date is for these date events, just enjoy them and embrace it while it lasts!
