Felix Jaehn Drops ‘Close Your Eyes Feat. Miss Li’ With VIZE, & It’s Getting Me Through Finals Week

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Illinois State chapter.

Felix Jaehn is ending the year with another catchy single that you need to add to your queue, like, right now! The German DJ and producer recently released “Close Your Eyes” with VIZE and Miss Li.

More than a year in the making, Jaehn co-wrote the song with Miss Li in September 2018. It was finally completed just last month with the help of the Berlin-based duo, VIZE. Miss Li provided her amazing vocals, while Jaehn closed the track with a thoughtful message: “How you doing? I hope you’re well.” The same line is also heard in the hook of “Love On Myself“, which was released this past summer.

“Close Your Eyes” encourages fans to keep going no matter what, reassuring them that their struggles aren’t forever. “All the troubles can be fixed” is a reminder not to lose hope, especially during tough times.

Jaehn aims to spread positivity by being transparent and authentic through his music. Co-writing all the lyrics for his tracks, he wants to send out genuine messages. His latest works have been highlighting mental health awareness.

As the semester ends and the stress hits, “Close Your Eyes” is guaranteed to keep you calm and help you through the chaos of these last two weeks.
