Binchtopia

Binchtopia is by far my favorite podcast. The hosts, Julia Hava and Eliza McLamb, talk about anything and everything you could possibly think of. From hearing their takes on dating apps to political issues, Julia’s and Eliza’s perspective is quite refreshing. It’s the perfect combination between serious topics and interesting pop culture takes.

Anything Goes

I grew up watching Emma Chamberlin’s YouTube videos, and if you did too, you will be obsessed with her podcast. Recording most episodes from her bed, she has the same comforting energy and good advice as she does on YouTube. With the title “Anything Goes,” Emma tells personal stories while also touching on larger issues. Most recently, I listened to her episode on celebrity privacy, a topic I had never really thought about before. You can listen to Emma’s podcast no matter how you’re feeling, and she’ll cheer you up.

On My Mind

Ava Jules is another YouTuber turned podcast host that I love. As a current freshman, I’m navigating the last year of my teens, and Ava has the “big sister” advice I definitely need sometimes. Ava’s podcast dives into life in your 20s. With an inspiring attitude, Ava can make you feel good about yourself in a unique way. I most recently listened to her episode “How to Feel Your BEST” while at the gym, and it made my time on the treadmill go by instantly.

The Daily

The Daily by The New York Times is my favorite way to stay updated on the news. The episodes go in-depth on specific current events, and I always feel more informed leaving them. Because they’re typically only 30 minutes, it’s easy to squeeze listening to The Daily into a busy day as a college student.

Moments

Lexi Hidalgo, a well-known TikToker, has a very grounding podcast. She always has good advice and a comforting tone to listen to. Always on the go traveling, Lexi has so many stories and advice to share. Lexi wants her listeners to live life outside their comfort zone, as she does. Whenever I listen to Moments, I always feel empowered for the rest of the day.
