Welcome to the “TikTok Trends” blog where each week I’ll be reviewing the latest trends on everyone’s favorite app that keeps them up until 2 a.m., TikTok!

Do you know this week’s TikTok dance? Dancing is many young adults’ specialty, like Noah Beck, Charli D’amelio and Addison Rae.

This week’s dance trend comes from the user Will DeVane(@willdevane). The New Jersey teen, alongside his girlfriend, Jenna Victor Mackenzie, started a dance to the song “What You Know Bout Love” by hip hop artist, Pop Smoke. Music enthusiasts into hip hop and pop music can find this song on most music applications, including Apple Music, Spotify and Pandora.

Will DeVane announced a New Dance Alert on Sep 1. Six days later, Jenna and Will continued dancing to this beat.

Let’s learn this dance together! First, two users are going to make romantic eyes (whether you’re romantically involved or not) at each other, followed by the iconic dice roll, perfected by Sway LA member, Noah Beck. Next, an air heart is drawn with both hands, starting from the top down to the triangular base of the love shape. Dancing on forward, your duo will tap their shoulder by crossing both arms and pushing their hand down to the ground vertically. A fast tempo will hit and users must quickly walk in place before switching to slowly walking in place. Next, the lockstep is performed using a side to side arm pump. The dance ends with the users bouncing off-camera with their hands in a prayer position. This dance can be performed individually or with two people!

After weeks of waiting, 3.5 million videos have been gathered on this page. Verified creator, Addison Rae, brought 3.6 million likes, 44.1 thousand comments and 51.68 thousand shares for Will Devane’s dance. One month from the teenager’s post, he still hasn’t been given the credit he deserves, yet Dixie D’amelio, Tayler Holder, Bryce Hall and Chase Husdon are all joining on this trend.

So… “what do you know about love?” Show us on your TikTok!
