13 Fall Foods We’re Most Excited For

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Hofstra chapter.

Who’s ready to indulge themselves in some pumpkin spiced foods?

1.PUMPKIN SPICED COFFEES ARE BACK!!!

I don’t know about you guys but I jumped with glee once I saw the sign at Café on the Corner in the Student Center that said Pumpkin Spiced Coffee is back. It’s getting cold out and a warm cup of coffee is always a necessity during the fall.

2.Pumpkin Flavored Cookies

I just recently tried the Pumpkin Joe Joes from Trader Joes last week and let me just say that everyone needs to try it ASAP.

3. Pumpkin Pie

This is and always will be a classic fall food. My favorite Thanksgiving dessert is hands down a slice of pumpkin pie.

4. Apple Pie

Let steer away from the pumpkin flavored foods for a second and take a moment to dream about eating a warm slice of homemade apple pie.

5. Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

After going pumpkin picking, my favorite tradition is to carve into the pumpkin and roast the seeds. Hint: add salt to the seeds!

6. Caramel Apples

After a long day of apple picking, dumping those delicious apples in caramel is a good way to end the day.

7. Apple Crisp

I don’t know about you but my mom’s homemade apple crisp with vanilla ice cream can always brighten up a dreary fall night.

8. Sweet Potato Casserole

Don’t forget the marshmallows on top!

9. Butternut Squash Soup

ABP can provide you with this warm, fall soup in between your classes!

10. Monkey Bread

This is a delightful breakfast idea for the fall especially with that hint of cinnamon.

11. Apple Cider Donuts

Anything relating to apples in the fall is a good idea!

12. Thanksgiving Turkey and homemade mashed potatoes with gravy

What says fall more than a traditional Thanksgiving meal with your family and friends?

13. Don’t forget the STUFFING!
