Beauty lovers unite at “Shea Butter Baby” pop-up shop

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at GSU chapter.

You know the vibes, and if you came out to Her Campus GSU’s Shea Butter Baby, you were a part of them.

Inspired by singer Ari Lennox’s latest R&B album, day three of the bi-annual Pink Week was a pop-up shop with local vendors. Customers had the opportunity to shop for new products and discover great stylists at Georgia State.

Current R&B music on the speakers and plenty of Her Campus’ signature pink for decorations helped to set the perfect ambience for these creatives to showcase their products and services.

If you want beautiful braids at a great price, Kelli Gabrielle Braids is for you! Whether you’re in the mood for some knotless braids, feed-ins, or even the classic box braids, she can do it. Customers were able to see her wonderful work and pick up a bottle of her hair moisturizer.

La Pink Rose is here for all of your skin care needs, and the founder, Qiyamah is dedicated to her motto “skincare made from love, NOT from a lab.”

Just a few of the products that her customers were really excited about were: facial/body scrubs, body butters, and her iconic donut soaps. You can see for yourself on Instagram @lapinkrose. If you’re looking for a way to pamper your skin for an affordable price, La Pink Rose is a great choice!
