How Joey Graziadei has saved the Bachelor franchise and who I think he will propose to.

The Bachelor hosted by ABC is currently on its 28th season. This season is being led by Joey Graziadei, a 28 year old tennis player. Joey was a fan favorite on season 20 of the Bachelorette where he was the runner-up. From someone on the outside looking in, Joey seems like a normal guy: a white, brunette, American guy from Pennsylvania. But what is it about Joey that has Bachelor fans calling him one of the best of all time?

Joey’s looks play a part in his popularity. The Pennsylvania native’s curly dark grown hair, beautiful green eyes, and banging body immediately catches the eye of viewers. However, his personality is what brought in the most women ever in a Bachelor season. Joey is a genuine person, a trait you could see during his Bachelorette season. Yet, this trait is shown even stronger in his own season. Even during the very first cocktail party, Joey proved he was 100% all in on the process and determined to find his person. He truly listened to each girl and tried to find the best in all of them. Throughout the season, he has been a shoulder to lean on for a lot of the women, listening intently to all of their hardships and experiences. He helps every woman feel comfortable in showing their true selves and personalities, lifting them up to feel confident in themselves. Even through the Maria and Sydney drama, he continuously gave both of them opportunities to share their sides of the story while staying true to himself and his journey. Joey’s real, down to Earth personality is what really brought him his popularity.

While Joey is a big reason for this season’s popularity, the girls casted have also been phenomenal. The cast includes mean, dramatic girls like Sydney and Jess, nice, relaxed girls like Jenn and Daisy, and funny, unique girls like Kelsey T. and Maria; this season truly has it all! The relationships the girls have with Joey are also bringing attention as a lot of them appear real and genuine, like two regular people in a relationship in the real world.

With three episodes left, there are only four girls that remain in the competition: Kelsey T, Rachel, Daisy, and Maria. In my opinion, there are three possible girls I am deciding between for who I think Joey will end up with – spoiler, Rachel is not one of them. Kelsey, Daisy, and Maria all have pretty solid relationships with Joey and he seems to be feeling them all equally. Kelsey and Daisy both got their second one-on-one dates in episode 7, proving he could possibly be feeling them more. However, Joey went out of his way to talk to Maria before the rose ceremony at the end of the episode to make sure she was all in before later giving her a rose. At this point, I love all three girls so I would be okay with Joey picking any of them. I feel like all three have good intentions at heart and would work well with him. However, I do want Maria to be the Bachelorette because I think it would continue the trend of a season with real, genuine interactions that started with Joey.
