This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at FSU chapter.

Welcome to your one stop shop regarding everything health and fitness. Weekly to bi-weekly, “Training with Tara” will support our readers’ needs of fitness inspiration, workout guides, healthy meals and more. So don’t be afraid to send in requests for next week’s column; we’ll be glad to accommodate.

1. It’s Affordable

You might not associate all-natural, local food as being the cheapest thing on the menu; Whole Foods being the golden example. Whole Foods might be delicious, but no one can afford that on a typical college budget. Thankfully, Vale Food Co. offers all this and more with a price that won’t break the bank.

2. Those Flash Deals Though…

Carrying on the fact that it’s affordable, Vale Food Co. releases flash deals using forms of social media such as Snapchat. Follow them today using their username, “ValeFoodCo,” and maybe save yourself even more money next time you visit.

3. The Menu Is Always Updating

To keep the customer on their toes, Vale switches up their menu to give you a better tasting experience.

4. The Food Is. So. Photogenic.

But don’t worry that Vale might change up their menu because these two options are here to stay. Located on the other side of the restaurant, you can order Instagram-worthy Avocado Toast and/or Acai Smoothie Bowls that’ll make the basic girl inside of you swoon.

5. It’s Quick and Easy

Whoever said that “nothing in this world that’s worth having comes easy” never knew about this joint. Having the option to dine-in or take to-go, you’ll be in and out in a minutes with a freshly prepared and hot meals that’ll make all your friends envious.

6. They Keep It Local

Not only is this company created and ran by a Florida State alumni, they use and support local businesses. Oh, and side note, those local businesses are Catalina Cafe and Lucky Goat Coffee: two of the best coffee joints in town.

7. It’s Walking Distance from Campus

You might not realize it, but Vale Food Co. is just around the corner from FSU’s main campus. Located in the prime area of College Town, you could actually grab lunch and make it back to campus in a breeze or, you know, you could always just stay for an afternoon snack and then dinner.

8. And If You Have a Meal Plan, Delivery Is an Option

Instead of walking to Vale daily to pick up your meals when you buy a meal plan from them, you are also given the option of delivery. Meaning, you get to choose the time and place of where your meals will be delivered to you. So, don’t worry if you don’t want to move. Now you can stay in your pajamas and continue watching Netflix while enjoying your freshly prepared meal.

9. Their Food Is All-Natural, Fresh and Healthy

Priding itself on the fact that everything is fresh, you won’t have to worry about anything processed being offered to you.  So, say goodbye to the unnecessary grease and actually enjoy some veggies for a change. And trust me, from the way they taste, you may almost believe they’re not vegetables.

10. You Can Indulge Without Indulging

Not only is this food delicious, but it’s also proportioned so you can’t overeat. Staying within a daily dietary consumption, Vale allows you to feel like you’re having a cheat-day while you’re actually treating your body to healthy nutrients and proteins.

All in all, Vale is an experience you won’t forget. With it not only being affordable, healthy and convenient, it’s almost impossible to find a reason not to go.  Plus, to show good faith to their customers, Vale is offering a deal to Her Campus readers.
