Is it really worth your time?

The simple answer: yes.

I recommend pilates to anyone, of any age. It saves your joints, all while firing up your muscles. Per day, the length of each workout video ranges from 9 minutes to 30 minutes. Each day of the week focuses on a different set of muscles on your body, and as the weeks progress, she builds on top of last week’s exercises.

High-intensity workout challenges can be somewhat stressful and mentally draining. While this challenge can be intense on your muscles at times, I found it in no way to be stressful. Murphy is undeniably kind. She is also a great instructor, as it’s clear as day to see that she knows what she’s talking about.

Life can be very stressful and busy at times, and that can result in a lack of motivation to get into your physical fitness. We may know how important it is to get our body moving, that still doesn’t cancel out the dread we feel to get it done. Murphy’s optimistic attitude and simple yet effective flow made the classes both enjoyable and committable.

In short, here’s why I recommend this:

  • Quick workout time

  • Great energy from the instructor

  • It’s fun

  • It’s FREE on YouTube

  • No ads during the workouts

  • Super effective

  • Not mentally/physically draining

  • Great activity for some self-love
