Although it’s over, NYFW is still fresh in our minds as we scour the web for outfit inspirations. While Jordan wrote an article about Fashion Week’s highlights on the runway and Adrianna wrote about trends, I wanted to shine the spotlight on the peeps pointing the cameras. Who are they, you may ask? My answer is simple: fashion bloggers. Fashion blogs are huge right now, so it’s no surprise that their creators were front and center at all of New York’s greatest shows.

Of course, there were thousands of people that traipsed through the city, looking their best, so here are some of my personal favorites.

Alexandra Pereira of Lovely Pepa killed it in this fabulous pink tulle midi skirt and leather bomber jacket. If opposites have ever attracted, it’s in this wonderful ensemble. The dark, structured top subdues the eye-catching skirt, yet doesn’t take away from its wow-factor.

Rachel Parcell of Pink Peonies looks amazing in a textured faux fur coat. Though the coat is large on top, she balances the look with tight leather pants and killer pointed-toe wedges. Her beige bag brings out the beige in her coat brilliantly, and her pink hat brings a touch of color to an otherwise neutral outfit.

Shea Marie of Peace Love Shea combines three of my favorite things: a turtleneck, hounds tooth print, and forgoing warmth and comfort for fashion. With temperatures below freezing, she killed it in classy fishnets (yes, those exist) and a slightly flared hounds tooth dress. The black-white-and-touch-of-red ensemble is endlessly classy, the faux fur trim being the final touch to an already perfect outfit.

Chiara Ferragni of The Blonde Salad opted for a pink ensemble for one of the days, which is exactly on trend. Though both a little out-there, the fluffy pink sweater and printed pants work in perfect harmony due to a stellar matching of colors. The oversized black scarf tones down the girliness of the outfit. Bonus points for her gold slip ons, which she designed herself for her The Blonde Salad x Steve Madden Capsule Collection!

Last, but certainly not least, Danielle Bernstein of We Wore What. Everything about this outfit screams “polished.” Pairing her simple white blouse with an oversized black bow is both edgy and high fashion, while her boyfriend jeans make the look more accessible and casual. Her pointy-toed stilettos make the pants look structured and put together, and her draped coat is the perfect finishing touch to a fantastic outfit.

Another honorable mention to Danielle, because her camel-and-powder-blue combination is magical. And let’s be real, who doesn’t love a good blue suede shoe?

Fashion bloggers are usually on point with what’s on trend, and tend to wear high fashion in an accessible way. So next time you run out of outfit ideas, instead of looking at what’s on the runway, look at what’s right beside it.
