Where are you from?

15 minutes outside of Boston, thank you very much (Needham, MA).

What year are you?

’69 always…but actually 2017.

What is your major?

Spanish and French double major

Where do you live on campus?

Averill

What is your favorite dining hall?

Dana – because I can get creative

What are you involved in on campus?

I am on the steering committee for the Bridge, Colby’s LGBTQ+ group. I am also a part of the French club, and I tutor for the French and Spanish departments.

How did you decide to double-major in French and Spanish?

In high school, I mostly studied Spanish, and then I picked up French at the start of my junior year. After spending my first college semester in Dijon, I realized that neurobiology (my original major) was not the path for me. Plus, the French and Spanish professors here are great.

Are you planning to go abroad?

Yes, next year I will be spending fall semester in Aix-en-Provence, France and spring semester in Cordova, Spain.

What do you like most about being a part of the Bridge?

It brings together the queer community at Colby. It unifies us so that one day we can take over the school…and the world. This is the gay agenda.

Sour Patch Watermelons or Sour Patch Kids?

Watermelons – I’m not a fan of sour stuff though.

Crunchy of puffy Cheetos?

Puffy—they last longer…sorta.

Oreo or M&M McFlurries?

Oreo—duh.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself!

I was in a commercial on the day I was born.
