5 Ways to Pamper Yourself After Midterms

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Chapman chapter.

1. Take a Bubble Bath

Midterms can wreak havoc on your body. And when it comes time to finally unwind, there’s no better way to unwind than taking a bubble bath! Light some candles, fill up your tub with hot water, and one of Lush Cosmetic’s bath bombs and you’re set! You’ll be able to just feel the stress lift away.

2. Do Your Nails

During the school year, it’s hard enough to find time to do your nails just because. But after midterms, it can be a way of treating yourself. Plus, it’ll make you feel better when you point something out to someone; you’ll have pretty nails, instead of those half-bitten, and chewed off from stress nails.

3. Get a Massage

Massages can be expensive. And for us college students on a budget, it’s often hard to find a place that’s cheap, but still good. A good option might be to check Groupon for coupons to massage spas in your local area. There’s always places that offer discounts!

4. Make a Face Mask

After all that stress from studying so hard, and probably not eating right, your skin is most likely suffering. So, you can either make a DIY face mask, or buy one from your local drugstore.

5. Have a Glass of Wine

And the final step in your pampering session, have a glass of wine! Several studies have proven that a glass of wine a day can be good for you. Of course, maybe you should wait until you’re 21, first.
