Being vegan isn’t as hard as everyone thinks it is but besides that it’s a personal choice I’ve made for myself. Everyone always says “Wow that’s so amazing you can do that, I could never do that.” Well being vegan, personally to me, isn’t as AMAZING as everyone thinks it is. I do it for health reasons and because I choose not to consume other organisms because I feel they deserve a better life. I’m not curing cancer or finding an end to pollution but in my own way I feel like I’m doing my part in bettering the world.

Some people in my life don’t think vegan food is “real” food, not that I’m really sure what that means. But there’s a ton of vegan options at super popular chain restaurants like In N Out, Pieology, Chipotle, Subway, and P.F. Changs. And besides the chains there are a good amount of vegan dedicated restaurants a lot of my friends have actually loved. Some examples of these are Veggie Grill, The Joi Cafe, and SunLife Organics. Their foods taste just like classics such as buffalo wings, burgers, and different pastries. If you don’t want to be vegan then don’t be. If you do wish to be vegan then go for it. It is a personal choice and no one should have any say in your decision. Know you can take your time and ease into it. Take it one day at a time and then one week at a time. After a couple weeks you’ll feel so great that you won’t even crave any of the foods you used to eat. Now here are some pictures of my favorite foods and trust me it’s “real” food.
