As we start to hit our stride in the semester, it can only mean one thing: midterms.

Sometimes, my favorite thing about studying is the location I’m in, so here are some of my favorite study spots both on and off Boston University’s campus!

Brothers & Sisters Co.

Brothers & Sisters Co. has been my go-to study spot this semester! I love to study away from campus as often as I can just to separate school from home. This coffee shop has such a cozy atmosphere and all of the employees are incredibly friendly and helpful!

Tradesman Coffee Shop & Lounge

During finals last semester, I was at Tradesman Coffee Shop & Lounge nearly every day! I loved how accessible it was to campus without actually being on campus. This shop makes my favorite iced chai lattes and amazing strawberry croissants, so it’s the perfect place to hunker down and study.

Buick Street Market & Café

If staying on campus is more your vibe but you don’t want the feel of the library, Buick Street Market & Café is perfect! It’s located on West Campus, and I love the convenience of just walking a block and studying in a lively atmosphere with food available (that you can pay for with dining or convenience points)!

School of Theology Library

I have multiple classes in the School of Theology, so if I’m ready for class early, I often head upstairs to the library and get some work done. Since this isn’t the main library on campus it is usually pretty empty and quiet, making it the perfect place to get some studying in!

Center for Computing & Data Sciences

This list wouldn’t be complete without one of our brand-new buildings here on campus! The Center for Computing & Data Sciences is one of my favorite spaces to study on campus because of how lively it feels. With amazing views of Boston and a café on the first floor, what’s not to love?

I hope you find your perfect study spot, whether it’s on- or off-campus, as we get further into the semester!
