Getting To The End Of The Year

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BC chapter.

Now that Spring Break is over, we are all looking forward to one thing: summer. This long stretch between now and the glorious summer vacation always seems to drag on and on. Instead of just waiting around and letting the time pass slowly, start getting excited about some other things before break. Here a few different things to look forward to.

Relay For Life

Have a great time for an even better cause. What could be better? Sign up and help raise money for cancer research on March 28th.

Easter Break

This break may be much shorter than the glorious summer break, but it’s still exciting. Getting to go home and eat a million of those delicious chocolate eggs will help getting to summer that much easier. Plus, right when you get back from break it’s…

Marathon Monday

The most anticipated day of a Collegiette’s spring semester. Marathon Monday is the day we all celebrate watching the Boston Marathon, and wish we could all run like the runners participating. After last year’s tragedy, I’m sure this year will make everything even more worth it.

Earth Day

Celebrating Earth Day is probably something you haven’t done since elementary school. This year, it’s on April 22nd. Help make the world greener by maybe starting to recycle in your room, or by taking a shorter shower on this day.

Cinco De Mayo

This is personally my favorite day to look forward to before summer, mostly because it’s also my birthday. But this is a great day before finals to get all the excitement from the school year out and to celebrate.

Finals Week

How I prefer to study for finals

Yes, I know this sounds like the opposite of exciting, but it can be. The actual tests and the studying might be torture, but it’s also a week of lots of free time to spend with your friends before you leave for the entirety of summer break. And if you’re a senior, this is your last hoorah, so enjoy every second of it! Plus, it’s always great to see all of your hard work pay off.

Even though we have to wait a few months until break, there are a ton of fun things to look forward to until then. Enjoy yourself and have a great rest of the year, Collegiettes!
