It’s hard being young. You are supposed to have all this energy and constantly finding job, internships, and relationships. If one more person asked me “what my plans after graduation are?” I might explode. I am already tired just thinking about it. In times like this, I like to take a moment and think “What would my granny do?” So here is a list about how to find your won inner granny and relax.

Always Drink Tea

Coffee is the drink for young people on the go who have only gotten 5 or fewer hours of sleep. Grannys never has this problem. They want to relax and take the time to sit at their lace covered table and enjoy their drink. So skip the coffee shop and brew a cup of tea and a book.

Take Naps

There is nothing better than a nap right after you have eaten lunch with the war sun coming through your window. Not only is it a great way to recharge, but it can actually improve brain functions. Just make sure you keep it under an hour or you might not be able to fall asleep at night.

Take Up Some Kind Of Needle Work

There is something so satisfying about watching your creations coming to life as you slowly work on it. It was a great way to relax and gives you something to do with your hands while to watch Netflix. Whether it’s knitting, crocheting, or cross-stitching nothing says the grandmother like a pile of yarn to go with your cup of tea.

Cook SomeThing Yummy And Full Fat

Yes but that full stick of butter in! Put your diet on hold for one night and make some cookies, cake, or muffins. Cooking is both relaxing and delicious. I personally like to pretend I am on the Food Network and have my own personal show. Invite some friends over to help you eat your creations and when they say they are full, in true granny style, give them more.

So putting on those cuffy cloths, take out those contracts and put on your glasses. Its time to be a granny and relax. It time to live life without a clock are scheduled!
