Reese Witherspoon’s Sunniefest 2025: Date, Location, Speakers, & More Info

Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine is hosting its first-ever Sunniefest in 2025, and is set to light up Dallas with a vibrant celebration of girlhood, creativity, and empowerment. The one-day festival being held on Nov. 15 is designed exclusively for Gen Z girls ages 13 to 25 to explore what it means to grow up in today’s digital world, with panels featuring guest speakers, performances, and hands-on learning opportunities.

Hosted by Witherspoon’s media company, Sunniefest aims to create a meaningful space for middle and high school girls to recharge, find joy, and find a genuine community in a world full of nonstop content. To combat the constant pressure to keep up with trends and social media, the festival’s featured speakers and workshops will focus on the inspiration, confidence, and self-discovery that make up true friendships and connections — basically a full-day celebration of all-things girl power.

Reese Witherspoon is bringing her authentic sunshine and spirit of sisterhood to a celebration that’s the first of its kind. Here’s everything you need to know about Sunniefest 2025.

What is Sunnie?

Hello Sunshine is Reese Witherspoon’s media production company — its most well-known productions include Gone Girl and Amazon’s Daisy Jones & the Six

Hello Sunshine is also home to Sunnie — Witherspoon’s latest platform, featuring social and editorial content, IRL events like Sunniefest, online zines, custom learning workshops, and more that are all designed with Gen Z girls in mind.

“Sunnie was created as more than a platform, it’s a movement,” Witherspoon said in a press release shared with Her Campus. “Gen Z women are rewriting the script every day — they’re creators, vibrant leaders, and disruptors, full of agency. Sunniefest is both a playground and a launchpad, a space where their ideas fuel each other and their voices aren’t just heard, they’re amplified. We want young women to see themselves as the architects of what’s next and this festival is their invitation to build, play and take up space together.”

Lyda Cosgrove is thrilled to contribute to the Culture and Style sections of Her Campus as an intern this fall. Currently a junior at Elon University in North Carolina, she majors in journalism and media analytics with a minor in professional writing studies. This semester, she is studying abroad in Florence, Italy through the Accademia Europea Firenze.

With a lifelong passion for storytelling and uncovering fresh angles, Lyda is eager to bring curiosity and creativity to her work. When she’s not writing about the latest pop culture moments or diving into Italy’s rich history during her classes, you’ll find her exploring new coffee shops to find the best cappuccino, taking long walks with friends or unwinding in a yoga class.

Back on Elon’s campus, Lyda is an active member of Zeta Tau Alpha, works in the Campus Writing Center and writes and edits for both the Elon Yearbook and the lifestyle magazine, The Edge. She hopes to one day pursue a career in the magazine industry, writing feature and entertainment stories that inspire and connect readers.
