National Avocado Day is coming up on Friday, July 31 — and no one knows how to celebrate this green superfood quite like Chipotle. Chipotle is basically synonymous with its fan-favorite guacamole, to the point that customers don’t really even care that it costs extra. Except… for a limited time, it actually won’t. This year, Chipotle is going above and beyond for National Avocado Day, offering new deals and a sneak peek surprise that will have customers saying “holy guacamole!”
For the first time ever, to celebrate National Avocado Day 2026, Chipotle is giving away free chips and guac with the purchase of an entrĂ©e. But wait, there’s more! Chipotle is also extending its celebration to two days — for double the amount of savings and celebration. On both July 31 and Aug. 1, you can make use of this offer exclusively on the Chipotle app and Chipotle.com by using code AVO2026 at checkout.
“Our hand-mashed guac and house-made chips are an iconic Chipotle pairing, and this year we’re going bigger than ever for National Avocado Day,” said Stephanie Perdue, Senior Vice President of Brand Marketing at Chipotle, in a press release announcing the celebratory offerings. “For the first time, we’re giving fans two full days to celebrate with free chips and guac with the purchase of an entrée, because one day simply isn’t enough for something this extra.”
As if the elevated deals aren’t enough, you might see a few familiar faces celebrating the occasion with the brand. That’s right — the celebration doesn’t just continue a day later, but the fun is actually starting a day early with some BTS footage. Love Island fans will want to keep their eyes peeled like an avocado, because to highlight how Chipotle sources avocados for its fresh guac, Chipotle is teaming up with Islanders and brand superfans Leah Kateb and Miguel Harichi from Season 6 of the show for new social content that takes fans behind the scenes at one of the California farms where Chipotle sources its avocados.
The video will debut on Thursday, July 30, the day before the deals begin. It will follow Leah and Miguel as they tour the farm, harvest ripe avocados, and visit a Chipotle restaurant to learn how the brand prepares its iconic guac. Given that the two are known for spending time in their garden, Leah and Miguel share an appreciation for the brand’s commitment to sustainable sourcing and get a firsthand look at the fruit’s journey from orchard to restaurant. Fun!
So go ahead and make a *pit* stop (get it?) to get that burrito or bowl. Your complimentary guac will go great with both the entrée and the free chips.
