Kylie Jenner Might Have Named Her Daughter ‘Butterfly,’ According To The Internet

I know so much has happened this weekend with the Super Bowl, Justin Timberlake’s performance, and more — but let’s be real. The biggest news of all came from Kylie Jenner, who finally confirmed that she was not only pregnant, but that she gave birth to a baby girl!

Though we only know the basics through an 11-minute video she posted for her fans, it’s no surprise the Internet is already onto the next question we all have: what’s the baby’s name

Fans of the Kar-Jenner clan are pretty sure it’s “Butterfly” and have the proof to back up the guess. They break down their reasoning a little like this:

1) The matching butterfly tattoos Kylie and Travis Scott got at the beginning of their relationship

Remember last June when the couple got matching butterflies on their legs? Well, that’s just about the same time that Kylie would have discovered she’s pregnant. Coincidence? I don’t know, but maybe the insect has a deeper meaning than the simple fact that it’s a symbol of their relationship.

2) The butterfly-themed nursery Kylie teased in her video

This is pretty self-explanatory, but we know the baby’s nursery is filled with butterflies, so could this be a hint that the baby’s name is indeed Butterfly?

3) Kylie has been wearing some butterfly jewelry, too

Okay, it’s starting to sound like the girl is butterfly-obsessed. Maybe she is, but it seems awfully sudden for her to have all of these butterfly-related things without *some* kind of tie to them. I’m starting to side with the fans now, TBH.

4) Travis Scott released a song called “Butterfly Effect” shortly after he started dating Kylie

The couple have been dating since April of last year and Travis released the song “Butterfly Effect” in May. I know songs take time to write and produce prior to their release, but maybe the butterfly was a symbol for his relationship with Kylie all along and it turned into their baby’s name. I don’t know, I’m just listening to the fans on Twitter. They’re pretty good at this detective work, honestly.

Though the evidence isn’t concrete, it could be very suggestive of the baby’s name and I think fans could be on the right track. Twitter ran wild with the theory — here are some of the best tweets about it.

It didn’t take long for Kim and Kanye to reveal their newborn daughter’s name (s/o to Chicago!), so hopefully Kylie won’t either.
