This Is Not a Drill: Kylie Jenner Announces the Birth of Her Baby Girl

After keeping us all guessing since September of last year (and nearly killing us) Kylie Jenner has officially announced the birth of her baby girl!

On Sunday, the Kylie Cosmetics mogul and Keeping Up With the Kardashians star took to Instagram to announce that she and Travis Scott had welcomed a baby girl together just a few days ago on Feburary 1.

“I’m sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions,” Kylie wrote. “I understand you’re used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world. I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free, and healthy way I knew how. There was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal I had planned. I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness.”

Totally understandable. And as for her new daughter?

“Pregnancy has been the most beautiful, empowering, and life changing experience I’ve had in my entire life and I’m actually going to miss it,” she continued. “I appreciate my friends and especially my family for helping me make this special moment as private as we could. My beautiful and healthy baby girl arrived February 1st and I just couldn’t wait to share this blessing. I’ve never felt love and happiness like this I could burst! Thank you for understanding.”

According to People, while we have no word on a name yet, Kylie’s healthy baby girl weighed 8 lbs, 9 oz and was born at 4:43 p.m. on Friday.

The best part of it all? To catch us up, Kylie has even provided fans with an adorable 11-minute video of her last nine months away from the cameras — which ends with, yes, a quick shot of her and her new daughter in the delivery room after her arrival. Meanwhile, I’ll just be over here watching it on repeat all night instead of the Super Bowl, which TBH, is now officially canceled in my mind.

Congratulations to Kylie and Travis!
