Since the last season of Bridgerton came out in 2024, fans have been craving another season filled with historical fiction, fantasy, drama, and, of course, romance. While Season 3 mainly followed Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton as Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton, the next season of Bridgerton will star Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha as the well-known Benedict Bridgerton and newcomer to the high-society scene, Sophie Baek.Â
If the Season 4 trailer is anything to go by, it appears that this new season will follow a mystery-style plot inspired by Cinderella, as Sophie shows up at a masquerade ball disguised and Benedict falls in love with her at first sight without knowing who she truly is. The only clue he will have before she runs away at the booming strike of the clock is the white glove she leaves behind. It seems that the season will follow this mystery of Benedict Bridgerton discovering who this mystery woman really is, and Sophie Baek dealing with the struggle of hiding and deciding whether to reveal her true identity. If that doesn’t sound intriguing enough to make you want to watch the season as soon as possible, I don’t know what will. But fans won’t have to wait much longer.
