‘White Lotus’ Season 3 Has A Brand New Cast — & A Season 1 Favorite Is Returning

Updated Published

Time to start shopping for some new bikinis and a BEIS suitcase, because we’re going to the White Lotus. After two incredible seasons, HBO’s The White Lotus was renewed for a Season 3 before Season 2 even ended! While the scenery in The White Lotus is always beautiful, the characters are, more often than not, super messy. And TBH, I live for the drama.

Even though one of my favorite characters, Tanya, played by the icon Jennifer Coolidge, was killed off in the Season 2 finale, I’m still so excited for the third season. But, if you were expecting other Season 2 characters to make an appearance in Season 3, I have some bad news for you: they won’t be in it. Yup, Season 3 of The White Lotus has a whole new cast, but a Season 1 favorite is returning. Season 3 has also added a Sex Education star to its cast and TBH, I’m so excited!

Where Is Season 3 of The White Lotus Being filmed?

The location for Season 3, which is set in Thailand, was confirmed by Variety on March 27. Showrunner Mike White said the third season might be a “satirical and funny look at death and Eastern religion and spirituality.” While we don’t know what the characters are like yet, there’s a good chance they’ll also be at the center of some pretty messy drama and could cause trouble in paradise. Honestly, I’m so here for it.

The White Lotus Season 3 has a star-studded cast.

So far, several Season 3 cast members have been announced, but their roles/characters are still unknown. And before you ask, no, Harry Styles is not on the list, sadly. This cast includes Leslie Bibb (Iron Man), Jason Issacs (the Harry Potter franchise), Dom Hetrakul (Bangkok Dangerous), Michelle Monaghan (Mission: Impossible III), Parker Posey (Beau Is Afraid), and Tayme Thapthimthong (Skin Trade). These six cast members will be joining the world of The White Lotus alongside Season 1 favorite, Natasha Rothwell, who played the resort’s spa manager.

It’s unsure if Belinda will be working at the resort or if she will be staying there as a guest. For her own sake, I’m hoping she’s vacationing because she needs a break.

Sex Education Fave Aimee Lou Wood & Blackpink’s Lisa has been added to the season 3 cast

On Jan. 16, Variety revealed that The White Lotus Season 3 has added five more actors to its growing cast, including Sex Education favorite Aimee Lou Wood.

Joining Wood are Walton Goggins, Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola, and Patrick Schwarzenegger.

But that’s not all. On Feb. 12, Variety announced more names of those joining the Season 3 cast. Among the additions is Blackpink member Lisa who is set to make her acting debut in the third season of the hit series.

Season 3 begins production in February 2024 in Thailand. Plot details are still being kept under wraps, but what we do know is that the scenery is sure to be stunning. As for when Season 3 will be released, it’s looking like it’ll premiere sometime in 2025.

In the meantime, you can find me booking flights to Thailand so I can live out my White Lotus dreams IRL.
