Taylor Swift Might’ve Manifested Her Relationship With Travis Kelce & A Fan Has Proof

A self-proclaimed “Mastermind,” Swift has been the queen of manifestation for a while. After rising to fame as a teenager and making a name for herself in the music industry, the singer knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to make big things happen for herself. Everyone knows that Swift shines all on her own and doesn’t necessarily need a man –  but fans think she manifested her dream guy in Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce and are using her song lyrics to prove it.

By now, everyone pretty much knows about Swift’s rumored romance with Kelce. But in true Swiftie fashion, fans are over-analyzing her discography for anything that could have foreshadowed this new chapter of her life and came across a few easter eggs in the singer’s music that point to her budding romance with Kelce. I wonder just how long the universe was waiting to bring these two together.

On Oct. 19, a Swiftie, who’s known as @BetttysCardigan on X (formerly known as Twitter), shared a thread pointing out different lyrics from Swift’s songs that prove she’s been manifesting her relationship with Kelce for years. And TBH, these theories are very convincing.

“I’ll be 87, you’ll be 89” – “Mary’s Song”

The first song fans are convinced manifested Swift and Kelce’s romance is “Mary’s Song.” In the track, she sings, “I’ll be 87, you’ll be 89.” Swift named her first pop record 1989 after her birth year, and since then, the number 89 has become a key element of the singer’s brand. The number on Kelce’s football jersey is 87. On Sept. 24th, the first time Swift publicly attended a Chiefs game, she wore a red Chiefs jacket to support with that had the #87. After the game, Kelce was seen wearing a blue and white suit currently listed as the “1989 Bedroom Painter Set” while leaving the stadium with Swift. Also, let’s not forget that Kelce was born in 1989. Coincidence? I think not.

“I’m on the bleachers” – “You Belong With Me”

Swift is quite literally on the bleachers to cheer Kelce on during his games.

“In your life, you’ll do things greater than dating the boy on the football team” – “Fifteen”

After the release of Midnights and the US leg of her blockbuster Eras Tour, Swift’s career has reached new heights. She’s cemented her status as one of the most successful artists in the world. She’s already been doing great things, and potentially dating the boy on the football team is just the cherry on top.

“And I can see you years from now in a bar, talking over a football game” – “Mean”

Swift’s world domination has made her name and music unavoidable – she’s everywhere. Now that the NFL has made their obsession with her known, her haters have even less of an escape from her. Quite a few people are actually voicing their same big, loud opinions over a football game – to which I’ll just say: Alexa, play “The Man.”

“But on a Wednesday in a cafe, I watched it begin again” – “Begin Again”

In case you live under a rock, Kelce attended Swift’s July 7th concert in his home city, where he tried to give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it. The news of Kelce’s crush on Swift broke during his podcast, New Heights With Jason And Travis Kelce. And what day of the week did the episode air? You guessed it – a Wednesday.

“That’s when you came in wearing a football helmet” – “Stay Stay Stay”

Seemingly (see what I did there), Swift has pictured herself with a football player for a while. She really sang it into existence, didn’t she?

“You stand with your hand on my waistline, it’s a scene and we’re out here in plain sight” – “I Know Places”

This lyric perfectly encapsulates the photos from Swift and Kelce’s NYC outings on Oct. 14 and 15. Instead of feeling panicked like Swift sings about in “I Know Places,” she now feels truly happy. She loves the way Kelce protects her, and seems less bothered by all the flashing lights of the paparazzi.

“Knew he was a killer the first time that I saw him” – “…Ready For It?”

Not only is Kelce killing it on the football field, his Instagram username is @killatrav.

“As if the streetlights pointed in an arrowhead leading us home” – “Cornelia Street”

This one was just funny to me – the Chiefs’ home stadium is called Arrowhead Stadium. I can’t make this stuff up!

“Like you were a trophy or a champion ring” – “willow”

Kelce has literally won two NFL championship rings in his career.

“Karma is the guy on the screen, coming straight home to me” – “Karma”

On every sports channel ever – ESPN, Fox Sports, NBC, you name it – Kelce is that guy on the screen and he’s coming straight home to her. Like it or not, Swift has had a lot of good things coming to her.
