On Jan. 17, Influencer Alix Earle posted a TikTok video revealing it was officially time for the annual Tarte brand trip, taking place in Dubai this year. Every year, the makeup brand hand picks a group of influencers to live the lavish life for a week on their dime. Past destinations have included Florida, Hawaii, Bora Bora and Costa Rica.
Influencers are gifted first-class flights and luxurious private housing, as well as excursions that may include riding dune buggies, snorkeling, and boat rides. This year, Earle, along with other fellow influencers Monet McMichael, Xandra Pohl, Meredith Duxbury, Christine Abraham, Sarah Wolak, and the Mian twins are all on the trip.
These sorts of luxurious brand trips have garnered lots of controversy. Regardless of the drama, when influencers congregate to literally show off what they’re doing, at least fans get an abundance of content on social media. From enviable photos of their new brand swag to gorgeous TikToks showing off their spa days, these influencers have been taking social media by storm. Their content has been blowing up on TikTok, and fans can’t get enough of their crossovers and collabs. So, let’s take an inventory of who is in Dubai, and who’s hanging with who.
