If there’s one thing I’m going to do, it’s deep-dive into any celebrity’s dating history. While celebrities are notorious for keeping their private life public, it’s wild to find out who our favorite stars have dated in the past — especially before they reached star status. My latest deep dive? None other than the Game Of Thrones star Maisie Williams’ dating history.
Since the star’s role as Arya Stark on Game Of Thrones, Williams has appeared in a variety of limited series, as well as developing the app Daisie, a platform designed to help budding creators grow in their careers. Most recently, Williams is set to star in the Apple TV+ series The New Look, which is based on the life of fashion designer Christian Dior. The show has no official release date yet.
As a fashion lover, and a fan of all things media, I’ve been thinking about the release of the show daily. And, with the WGA still on strike, there’s no telling when we’ll be able to see Williams on our screens again. So, if you’re like me and reminiscing on the Game Of Thrones days, wondering what the stars are up to (romantically) now, then sit back and relax. Here’s what we know about Maisie Williams’ dating history.
2014: Caspar Lee
Ready for a blast from the past? For all of the ex-YouTube fandom members out there, the name Caspar Lee might ring a bell. Lee was a popular South African YouTuber who was linked to Williams after collaborating on several videos throughout the 2010s. While their relationship was never confirmed, fans continuously shipped the two for years. As of Dec. 24, 2022, Lee is engaged to entrepreneur Ambar Miraaj Driscoll.
2015 – 2018: Ollie Jackson
Williams was also linked to professional racecar driver Ollie Jackson from 2015 to 2018. The couple was spotted frequently on outings, and were reported to be living together in London. In 2018, Williams said to Elle UK, “Everyone just wants to have someone they can hang out with who is a friend and a boyfriend, and Ollie is that.”
The couple never announced their split, choosing to let their presence on each other’s social media fade away instead. As of 2019, Jackson has been dating Charlotte Tilley.
2018 – 2023: Reuben Selby
Williams’ most recent partner was entrepreneur and fashion creative Reuben Selby. The two frequently appeared on Red Carpets together and shared a dog (who Williams referred to as her “child”). On Feb. 24, Williams announced the breakup on her Instagram story writing, “Since we met 5 years ago, our connection always extended deeply into our shared, and separate, creative careers … and it will continue to do so.”
She continued, “This decision is something we are so grateful for as we can protect the magic, that we can’t help but emit, whenever we put our brains together.”
For now, the Game Of Thrones star is single, but I’ll be sure to update you if, or when, she goes IG official with a new partner.
