Alright, everyone, hold on to your hats, because I’m about to dish on a crossover you didn’t know you needed: Halsey and Avan Jogia have sparked dating rumors after being spotted kissing in public. But are they actually dating? Her Campus reached out to Halsey and Jogia’s teams for comment, but didn’t hear back by the time of publication.
The three-time Grammy nominee and “Colors” singer Halsey split with their partner Alev Aydin earlier this year after three years of marriage and having a son together in 2021. The two reported that the split was “amicable,” but this isn’t stopping Halsey from fighting for full physical legal custody over their son, Ender Ridley Aydin.There are no current updates on the legal battle. Before her marriage with Aydin, Halsey has dated other celebs like Matty Healy and Machine Gun Kelly.
The 31-year-old Victorious star Jogia hasn’t been seen romantically with anyone since his split with Cleopatra Coleman in 2021. Before that, he was with Not Okay star Zoey Deutch from 2012 to 2017.
The unexpected new match was seen together earlier this month on what looks to be a night on the town. On Sept. 18, Halsey and Jogia were spotted walking hand in hand after emerging from the Cara Hotel in Los Feliz, California. Whether or not the rumors are true, there’s no denying that these two seemed like the literal form of the heart eyes emoji, because the photos show them cuddling on the streets, laughing with each other, and even sharing kisses. The pair hasn’t officially confirmed their relationship yet, though, so none of us can know for sure right now whether those kisses were confirmation or just for fun.
This isn’t the first time you may have heard about this couple: The two had fans speculating about them possibly dating on Sept. 10 when Jogia was seen leaving Halsey’s Los Angeles residence and the two were also spotted getting coffee together, according to Us Weekly. PinkVilla reports that they were also apparently spotted on a beach together in Barcelona, Spain in June, at least based on anonymous Deuxmoi submissions about the couple (so take those with a grain of salt). It’s not immediately clear when they met or how long they might have been together.
It’s safe to say that if the rumors are true, I’m #TeamHavan. If Halsey and Jogia are happy, then I’m happy, end of discussion. But what do fans have to say about this new romance? Well, it’s pretty clear that they’re frothing at the mouths for more Havan content.
The comments on some TikToks have been supportive of the two so far, saying things like, “IM CALLING ENDGAME RN they’re perfect” and “I’m so here for this 😭 😍.” One that made me LOL was someone commenting, “This is now my Roman Empire.” Because honestly, me too.
