If you are anything like me going to the gym is the last thing on your mind. My body image has always been a problem for me and it has been something I have been wanting to change and better myself but have not been able to find the right motivation to do it. I finally took the leap and got a gym membership and it has been one of the best decisions of my life. Granted I still have a hard time finding the will to want to go workout but each day it gets easier.

Working out is good for your health both physically and mentally. When you are exercising it releases endorphins that calm your anxiety and will lift your mood. Did you have a stressful day at work or at school? Take all that built up emotions and get a nice workout in. You will have access to a wide variety of equipment giving yourself the option of many different workouts. Being around other motivated people is only going to motivate you and push you to keep going.

Now I am not even close to being an expert about the gym and working out. I have only had my gym membership for about a month now. But within the month and working out a couple of times a week I have seen a change in myself. Nothing physical yet but emotionally and mentally I have been a lot happier and more energized. Push yourself to be the person you strive to become.

I am senior at MNSU and am studying to get a degree in Marketing with a minor in Mass Media. I love cooking, being around friends and family, going on little adventures, and just having fun.
