4 Products You Should Try in Your First Glossier Order

The Her Campus National Editors write about products we love and think you’ll love too. Her Campus has affiliate partnerships, so we get a share of the revenue from your purchase. All products are in stock and all prices are accurate as of publication.

Truth be told, my happy place is in my bed with my laptop, online shopping. I am a self-proclaimed online shopping obsessive, and there’s nothing better than placing an order for a haul of new beauty products. One of the retailers that I can’t stop recommending is Glossier. If you’re new to beauty or to this brand, Glossier has the trendiest skincare and makeup out there, from its pink aesthetic to the cleverest product names.

Even beyond that, the products work — like, seriously work. So if you’re looking to switch up your routine or take the perfect bathroom counter pic, then you’ve come to the right place. Read on for what you should order when you shop Glossier for the first time.

Milky Jelly Cleanser

Glossier, glossier.com, $18; shop now

I have a motto that I live by as a skincare queen and huge Friday Night Lights fan: “clean skin, full heart, can’t lose.” We all have that one look which truly gives a confidence boost, and for me that is glowing, blemish-free skin. One of the first steps in getting there is figuring out the right cleanser for your skin type.

Now it’s time for me to get on my soapbox and tell you about gel cleanser. Milky Jelly Cleanser isn’t your brother’s hair gel—this is magic. The consistency is so light that it literally glides over your face. No bubbles or suds in sight. Still don’t believe me? Other college women are just as obsessed with it!

The Super Duo

Glosser, glossier.com, $45; shop now

Remember that motto I mentioned earlier? Well, it’s back. Clean skin glows. It doesn’t just stare sadly back at you from the mirror. A hack to getting that special glow is to use serums.

Serums can literally revitalize your skin by adding powerful extra ingredients, such as vitamins and antioxidants, to transform your skin with benefits like spot reduction and collagen production. They fulfill the needs that your cleanser and moisturizer can’t deliver. By now, you have definitely heard about the latest trending skincare ingredient, hyaluronic acid. Glossier predicted that trend years ago and created Super Bounce, its hyaluronic acid serum.

Glossier also has Super Glow, a Vitamin C serum known to boost collagen production, giving you that fresh baby skin feel. Plus there’s Super Pure, which is a niacinamide serum known to fix uneven skin texture.

Can’t lose, guys, seriously.

Boy Brow

Glossier, glossier.com, $16; shop now

I couldn’t write a Glossier guide and not include Boy Brow. It is the top bestseller on the entire website. Remember when Cara Delevingne and her gorgeous eyebrows rose to fame? Glossier has made it possible for everyone to master that fluffed-up eyebrow look.

Boy Brow is like mascara for eyebrows with its spoolie-style brush. But instead of just darkening and tinting, it also grooms, thickens and conditions your eyebrows.

Generation G

Glossier, glossier.com, $18; shop now

I really hate lipstick. It’s one of my biggest pet peeves because you only get two options: matte lipstick that you need a bulldozer to get off at night, or shiny lipstick that bleeds on everything.

I thought I would have to rely on tinted Chapstick forever, until I heard about Generation G. Imagine the appearance of that shiny lipstick, but with the texture and longevity of matte lipsticks. Yeah, that’s Generation G.

It’s basically the holy grail of all lipsticks because it combines all the good elements without any of the bad. Oh, and it comes in six shades, so everyone can find the color they love.

Are you obsessed yet? With so many awesome products almost all under $20, Glossier is the ultimate beauty destination for college women. Even better, you don’t have to leave your house to shop these products.
