Zaara Rahman is a freshman Public Relations committee member at the Texas A&M University chapter, where she contributes articles to music, books, traveling, and news. Passionate about creativity, she joined Her Campus as an outlet outside of her major as a way to balance her academic life while also doing something enjoyable.
Beyond Her Campus, Zaara is a student at TAMU studying Microbiology. While she has always been interested in the sciences, having a STEM major can be demanding and sometimes overwhelming. When she's not working on her post labs, she enjoys creative projects and has an appreciation for the arts and media. Any opportunity she has to be creative, she'll take it.
In her free time, Zaara loves to read, draw, and listen to music. Whether she’s discovering new novels to add to her fifty-book-long TBR, sketching in her journal, or creating another playlist for every mood and occasion, she’s always seeking new ways to express herself. Traveling is another passion of hers, and she enjoys immersing herself in different cultures and places. She hopes to go to as many countries as possible in her lifetime.
