Tara Boyd currently works as one of Her Campus' contributing editors. With a passion for encouraging individuality and creative agency, her goal as an editor is to help every person become confident in their unique voice as a writer.

A third-year student studying English, Gender Studies, and Digital Humanities at the University of Washington, Tara is passionate about the intersection of media, pop culture, and current events. As a writer for Her Campus, Tara loves writing about film & TV, fashion (especially The Met Gala), music, and general opinion pieces.

In her free time, Tara can be found reading, dancing, going to concerts, and trying out new coffee and boba shops. In the future, she hopes to continue honing her writing and editing skills, translating them into a career in journalism, public policy, and advocacy work.
