Hey my name is Shanza and I am a second year honours English student at Wilfrid Laurier! I have a huge passion for writing specifically about trends or present pop culture going on in the media. I love hearing out new news and current events that surround all topics about things I find myself passionate about like fashion, women’s rights, today’s society just to name a few.
I have experience in the education field from doing co-op in my high school years at U+ Education as well as my current job as a part time English tutor who teaches all ages from kindergarten to seniors. The experience has been super rewarding especially knowing I get to help people write and speak English as a second language as well!
On my free time I like to go shopping, read books, workout, add movie reviews to my letterboxd and listen to music. I also really love nature and animals and anything that has to do with the outdoors. Something I have found a lot of enjoyment in recently is going to concerts of my favourite artists like Coldplay, Cigerettes after sex, and Gunna soon! I love travelling to and discovering new places, and I am always up for an adventure, and trying new things.
