Nawshin (pronounced naw-sheen) is a second-year Fashion and Textile student at North Carolina State University. This is her first year as a member of Her Campus, and she is thrilled to begin sharing her thoughts and ideas with the world.
Before joining Her Campus, Nawshin was actively involved in her high school’s student government and was a member of the National Honor Society. She also participated in multiple internships at Duke University, which gave her valuable leadership experience and further fueled her aspirations of creating new things and helping others. After graduation, she hopes to join a master’s program in fashion and pursue her dream of becoming a successful fashion designer.
Born in Durham, North Carolina, Nawshin was raised in Michigan before moving back to North Carolina in 2020, where she has been ever since. She is passionate about fashion and loves designing innovative and unique pieces. In her free time, Nawshin enjoys trying out new restaurants, working out, spending time with friends, and playing video games. She has also been an avid writer and journaling enthusiast since childhood, which continues to be a source of inspiration for her creativity.
