Najia Mottalibe

TAMU '28

Najia Mottalibe is a new member of the writing and editing committee at the TAMU chapter of Her Campus. As a Bangladeshi Muslim American, she often relates her writing back to her identity, culture, and lived experiences but also likes to write about a variety of topics including fashion, psychology, and philosophy.
Najia is a freshman neuroscience (molecular and cellular) major from Houston, TX and is involved in a few other orgs on campus. She is in one of the FLOS at TAMU called FLARE and is on their finance committee. She is also the event chair for SUBS (Society of Undergraduate Biology Students). She plans on pursuing medical school and fun fact has an RDA (registered dental assisting) certification. She is also CPR and BLS certified and is planning on getting her EMT certification this year.
Outside of school, Najia loves to read and paint. She loves a good romcom or dystopian novel. She also loves to binge watch Netflix in her free time. Her current show of fixation is Supernatural but her comfort show has to be Brooklyn 99. She also loves traveling and trying new foods. Out of all the cities she has been to, she has an inclination toward New York City and dreams of living there at least once in her lifetime.
