Melie Vaioleti is a biology student at Brown University on the pre-med track, passionate about medicine and public health. She’s especially interested in psychiatry and pediatrics, hoping to make a real impact in people’s lives through medicine.
Outside of school, Melie loves being outdoors, hiking, shelling, and diving. Growing up in Hawaii, she developed a deep connection to the ocean and nature, which continues to shape her perspective on science and medicine. She’s also passionate about storytelling and is currently writing two children’s books to help toddlers understand and manage anxiety. Melie also loves a good relaxing day binging a good tv show - her favorite right now being Yellowstone.
