Melanni Reyes is the newest voice at Her Campus at Texas! She looks forward to sharing her voice with everyone, over various topics ranging from public policy and law to personal experiences.
Melanni is currently a pre-law first-year at UT Austin, majoring in Public Affairs. She’s actually part of the very first Public Affairs bachelor’s class and is ready to lead the way! When she’s not in class, you can find her staying active on campus with Texas Señoritas and Minority Women Pursuing Law. As a first-gen student from Dallas, Melanni arrived at UT with her associates degree in criminal justice and public safety from Dallas College. In addition to that she looks forward to applying her learnings from professional law internships to her writing.
When she’s off the clock, you can find Melanni exploring Austin’s best coffee and matcha spots with her roommates. If she isn’t sipping on a matcha, she’s probably the one whisking it up at her part-time job in West Campus. She’s also a big fan of reading, volunteering, and binge watching some classic rom-coms.
