Katie Dickinson is a freshman at Rowan University majoring in Accounting. She hopes to become a CPA after graduation and eventually open her own accounting firm. While numbers may be her career path, Katie has always had a creative side too. She is a five-time published poet and loves writing as a way to express herself, which is part of what made her so excited to join Her Campus Rowan!
Before Rowan, Katie attended Allentown High School, where she was heavily involved in pretty much everything she could fit into her schedule. She served as President of Student Council, Peer Leaders, and Spanish Honor Society, played varsity soccer, and was involved in musical theatre. Now at Rowan, she is excited to meet new people, get involved on campus, and make the most of her college experience. She is currently involved with organizations like the Accounting Society, Student Government, and Rowan Catholic - and, of course, Her Campus!
Outside of school, Katie is almost always listening to music, watching a movie or TV show, editing videos, writing, or spending way too much time scrolling through TikTok. She loves musical theatre, singing, pop culture, and finding any excuse to be creative. She’s also always down for a coffee run, a good movie night, or spending time with her friends and family. Through Her Campus, Katie is excited to write about the things she loves, share her experiences, and have a fun creative outlet outside of the accounting world!
