Jacquelyn Jones serves as a new staff writer at the Her Campus chapter at Florida State University. She works on writing articles for the topics of campus, culture, and lifestyle. This means her writing ranges from things to do in Tallahassee, music, film, cooking, and much more!
Jacquelyn Jones has had no prior experience in regards to blogging or media outlet writings. She’s excited to be given the opportunity here! Previously, Jacquelyn had worked as a hostess at a seafood restaurant and she currently works for the contract department at an office supplies company. So, she understands the ins and outs of both the food service and corporate industries. Jones is a sophomore at Florida State University, pursuing a major in Editing, Writing, & Media while still exploring her options for her minor.
Besides work and school, Jacquelyn likes to spend time on creative endeavors such as crochet or bedazzling. There’s always an unfinished project lying around her bedroom. She also is both a player and a Dungeon Master for two Dungeons & Dragons campaigns. She loves to create and help write stories with people, and she’s a sucker for a good fantasy novel (Fourth Wing fans where you at). Jacquelyn serves in two charity based organizations and loves to serve her community.
