Hlumi who was born and bred in Port Elizabeth has found her way to Cape Town in pursuit of her dreams of studying at UCT. She is an undergrad studying a Bachelor of Social Science majoring in Politics and Sociology.
She describes herself as an ambivert who is quite reserved when you first notice her but quickly brings out her quirkiness once you get to know her personally. She is someone who finds joy in bringing a smile on people's faces and someone who tells the corniest of jokes. She is a middle child who behaves like an only child so in her words,"It's Hlumi's world and you're just living in it".
She is someone who enjoys studying but also strongly believes in taking breaks and treating yourself with a reward. Her future plans consist of graduating,travelling and making a change in people's lives with one smile at a time. She strongly believes in the impact of friendship so if she's not by herself,she's probably surrounded by all her beloved friends.
She hopes to bring some of her edge and quirkiness in her articles in hopes of educating and entertaining her readers. She hopes all her readers follow the words of Alex Wasabi which are,"If you aren't smiling,you're doing it wrong."
