Darah Ostrom is a senior staff writer at the Her Campus UConn chapter. She enjoys writing on a variety of different topics from lifestyle and wellness to fashion, beauty and sociopolitical issues.
Beyond Her Campus, Darah works as a social media manager for a real estate agency where she manages all aspects of content creation, including photography, video production, and engaging graphics. This past summer, Darah interned at The Emerald Karat in Saint Paul, Minnesota where she designed the website and digital content for a small business. She is currently a senior at the University of Connecticut majoring in Journalism with a minor in Communications.
When she is not writing or working, Darah is a student-athlete on the UConn Women’s Swim and Dive Team. In her free time, Darah enjoys movie nights with her friends, long walks in the morning and crafting the perfect iced coffee. She is a New Girl fanatic and can recite nearly every line from the show by heart.
