Nothing is more exciting than watching as the leaves begin to change color on the trees, signaling the end of summer and the beginning of fall. Each season brings something new and unique, but none can compete with the beauty of fall. Take a look at why fall is the best season down below:

1. Halloween!

This one may be a given, but it’s one of the greater aspects that separates fall from any other season. No holiday is quite like Halloween. Not only do we get an excuse to get creative and dress up as whatever we want, but it also comes with haunted houses, scary movies, and of course, the opportunity to eat as much candy as we want.

2. Perfect weather.

It’s not too hot, yet it’s not too cold. Fall brings in that perfect balance making spending days outside fun and comfortable.

3. Sweater weather.

It’s also cozy clothing weather. We can finally trade in our tank tops, shorts, and sandals for big fluffy sweaters, jeans, and our favorite boots. With the weather finally cooling down, we can break out our coziest clothes.

4.  Apple picking.

This is by far one of my favorite fall activities. Nothing gets you more in the fall spirit than heading to the apple orchard with your family or friends. After spending an hour filling your bags with fresh apples, you head back towards the entrance where you can enjoy some fresh apple cider with a warm apple cider doughnut.

5. Hot drinks.

Of course there is the famous pumpkin spice latte that only comes out around fall, but there are also other favorites, such as warm apple cider and hot chocolate. Our favorite fall drinks are only available for a short period of time, so we must enjoy them while they last.

We all have a favorite season, but you cannot disagree that fall is a magical time of year. It’s that in between season where summer is ending, yet winter has not yet begun. The leaves are changing and the year is coming to a close. Get ready for cool nights around the bonfire with the people you love and appreciate all that fall brings.
