1. Every miracle takes a little time. – Cinderella
Said by the fairy Godmother herself, this is one of the most accurate quotes I’ve come across in my life. The best things in life are yet to come, and sometimes they take a while to get to us. But when they do, they’re worth every second of the wait.
2. The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step. – Lao Tzu
It is very important to at least get yourself out the door. Go that extra mile and put yourself out there – if you don’t, the world can’t see how amazing you are. One step at a time, and you’ll reach your goal in no time.
3. Don’t be afraid to give up the good to go for the great. – John D. Rockefeller
Sometimes letting go of what you already have is hard, especially when you know the future isn’t certain. However, you have to take the risk of stepping out of your bubble and chasing after your dream. When you do achieve it, you’ll feel like you’re on top of the world.
4. Oh yes, the past can hurt. But the way I see it, you can either run from it or learn from it. – The Lion King
As usual, the wise Rafiki offers some valuable life lessons and reminds us that we will never move forward if we keep looking over our shoulder to the past. Live life. Make mistakes. Move on.
5. Storms don’t last forever. – S. L. Jennings
All of us have gone through a bad time. Trust me when I say this, it DOES get easier. Time always heals pain, and you’ll be back to the happy moments soon. Just hang in there, the sky is bound to clear up.
6. “Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.” – Winston Churchill
Sometimes being discouraged or down can actually prevent you from getting all the success and happiness that you deserve. So change your attitude, think positive, and you’ve automatically won half the battle.
7. “You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.” – Winnie the Pooh
For a yellow cuddly bear, Pooh always tends to shed a ton of wisdom on us. Block out that doubting voice inside your head and give yourself a little more credit. It’s useless being so self-critical. Learn to love yourself, and most importantly, believe.
