Midterms.

It’s that time in the year when the promise of completing half your semester is upon you, yet the reality of examinations and due dates is inescapable. As college students across the country reach the midpoint of their fall terms, many are faced with countless tests and project submissions. Though it might seem overwhelming in the moment, completing your midterms will leave you proud of your accomplishments—and one step closer to winter break.

Just as taking time to relax during midterms is important, so too is the need to organize and prepare. No matter where you find yourself on this timeline, remember that you’re overcoming one hurdle at a time on the path toward graduation. You can do this.

Here are the five moments many college students experience during midterm season:

1. Checking the Syllabus & Realizing Your Test/Project/Deadline is Closer Than Realized

2. Scrambling to Get Yourself Organized

3. It’s a Late-Night Study Session with Your Friends & They are Concerned for Your Well-being

4. You Spend the Night Before the Big Test on Productive-Level 10,0000

5. You Finally Finish Your Midterms & Decide to Treat Your Self (Self-care is important, right?)
