Whether you dumped them or had your heart torn out, breakups are hard. Most of us live our emotions out in our music, so if you’re ready to move on give these a listen!

1. “Thank U, Next” by Ariana Grande

What doesn’t Ariana rock?!? After calling off her engagement to Pete Davidson, Ariana took a moment to reflect. Then, the boss cranked out this song that calls out exes and speaks deep truth. Ariana reminds us not to wish the relationship never happened, but to recognize how we learned and grew from it. Be grateful for where you are, then go conquer the world!

2. “Ring Off” by Beyonce

Queen B has an anthem for every feeling we go through. Whether you broke up with a husband, a fiance, a boyfriend, or a FWB, this is a powerful hymn to power you through.

3. “Ignore Me” by Betty Who

It can be hard to cut ties with an ex, but it’s usually best for both of you. The longer y’all were together the more ingrained your lives probably got. Betty Who’s true pump up says that the ex doesn’t get to call, doesn’t get to hear how you’re doing, and doesn’t get the friends! Trust me, you need to hear this one.

4. “Ain’t My Fault” by Zara Larsson

Don’t sit around all weekend having a pity party in your bed (unless you actually need s If you are ready to cut-loose with your ladies the weekend after, Zara Larsson’s hit is a reminder that it takes two to get into ‘trouble.’ Want more songs with this vibe? Also try “Bodak Yellow” by Cardi B; she’s got this vibe under lock.

5. “You Should Be Loved” by Hunter Hayes, ft. The Shadowboxers

Finally, “You Should Be Loved” is a reminder of what you deserve. Never settle collegiettes, because even Hunter Hayes knows that you should be missed, kissed, and loved by somebody who makes you laugh until you cry and holds you tight. He has statements for each of these in his chorus.
