If you know me, you know I take my skincare very seriously (I may or may not have a drawer in my bathroom dedicated solely to facemasks). Here are a few items I have recently discovered and added to my routine that you’ll want to try ASAP.

1. Mario Badescu drying lotion

You’ve probably tried this brand’s ~famous~ rosewater facial spray but there are so many more items made by this brand that work wonders! The drying lotion works as a spot treatment for pimples. All you have to do is dab a little on any problem areas before bed and rinse it off in the morning. It helps to significantly reduce redness and shrink zits to make them go away faster. You can find it here!

2. Soap and Glory “Heel Genius”

When you hear the word “skincare,” your mind probably goes automatically to facial products, right? It’s important to take care of your skin from head to toe. This item is a must-have if you have rough or dry feet. It takes a while to soak up, so I recommend applying it when you have some downtime or right before bed and slipping a pair of comfy socks on top. Your feet will thank you. Want to try it for yourself? You can find it here!

3. Bliss “Eye Do All Things” hydrating eye gel

If you’re the type of college student that pulls all-nighters often, you need this item. I’ve tried quite a few eye gels to help minimize my dark circles but this one is definitely my favorite because of the steel rollerball used for the application. I use this in the mornings then add some concealer and it looks like my dark circles never even existed! Try it out for yourself here.

4. Lush “Mask of Magnaminty”

This is one of Lush’s most popular self-preserving masks and for good reason. I like this mask before it is exfoliating but not in a harsh way so it is great for sensitive skin! I have seen a huge improvement in my acne since I started using this a few times a week. If you haven’t tried this product already, you definitely need to. You can find it here in multiple sizes!

5. Dove exfoliating body polish

I got a sample of this product in one of my subscription boxes a while back and went to the store to buy a full-size container as soon as I ran out. I used to always have little bumps on my upper arms and nothing has been able to make them go away except for this product. It is gentle and smooths without being harsh on the skin. My personal favorite is the crushed macadamia and rice milk scent but there are also three others you can try so there is a scent for everyone! It’s also under ten dollars so it’s super affordable! You can buy it here!

6. Innisfree Intensive Hydrating Serum

Does winter have your skin feeling dry and flaky? This product uses Jeju Green Tea Extract and Green Tea Seed Oil to help replenish skin’s moisture and lock it in. I recommend applying to on right after a hydrating face mask!

Treat yourself and your skin, collegiettes!
