Finally continuing my cleanse series that was paused due to COVID-19 last semester. I did Pressed Juicery’s Cleanse 2 which is their most popular cleanse. Each drink is labeled in the order you are supposed to drink them every 2 hours.

It consists of six drinks, but I didn’t get the two waters this time. I paid $30 for the six drinks thanks to the Pressed Juicery membership (which I highly recommend because it is basically free and you can cancel whenever and restart whenever…check their website for more info).

I started my day at 11 a.m. with Greens 2. This one is 140 calories and is made of apple, cucumber, celery, lemon, spinach, kale, and parsley. This one doesn’t taste awful and is definitely bearable. This juice is a great energy boost and has lots of vitamins.

I had a vegan protein shake with superfood greens in it at 12 p.m. just because it’s what I always do and I worked out.

At 1 p.m. I had Citrus 2. This was probably my favorite juice of the day. It is 240 calories and contains apple, pineapple, lemon, and mint. It has a ton of antioxidants and is yummy refreshing juice to have.

At 3 p.m. I was shopping at Target and forgot to bring my juice with me so I bought a pack of almonds to keep my energy levels up.

At 5 p.m. I had Greens 3. It is 140 calories and consists of the same ingredients as Greens 2, but with some ginger added to it for a little kick. Ginger is not my favorite taste, but it is not overbearing in this drink.

At 7 p.m. I had Roots 3. It is 190 calories and consists of apple juice, lemon juice, ginger juice, and beet juice. It was definitely my least favorite drink because of the beets and ginger.

At 9 p.m. I had Citrus 1. It is 130 calories and consists of cucumber juice, pineapple juice, coconut water, lemon juice, and aloe vera. This one isn’t bad at all, but I still prefer Citrus 2.

And finally, at 11 p.m. I had Chocolate Almond. It is 330 calories and consists of almond milk, dates, alkalized cocoa powder, and sea salt. The cleanse actually comes with Vanilla Almond, but I asked to switch it out because I prefer the chocolate. It is nice to have at the end of the day to feel a bit more full.

Today was okay. I definitely was a bit low on energy but that’s expected after running errands, working out, and doing a juice cleanse. I was able to get everything done and the cleanse really helped me feel refreshed and get rid of toxins. I definitely recommend Cleanse 2, but not for a first-timer.

Hello! My name is Emma. I am a student at Pepperdine University and I am studying Philosophy with the hopes of obtaining my MFT license after I graduate in 2021. I was born in Houston, Texas, and raised in Waco, Texas. That being said, I am avid supporter of Baylor sports and TexMex! I believe mental health is the most important thing to maintain in college. Some ways that I maintain mine include (but are not limited to) boxing, Disney, and beach days with my friends out here in Malibu!

This is my senior year of college and I'm a Public Relations major with a Creative Writing outside concentration. I was born and raised in So-Cal and love it so much I couldn't go too far. As much as South California is my home, I adore traveling and learning about other cultures. A Disney fan to the core you can find me watching any of their movies, or breaking my bank account at Disneyland, and if not I'll probably be reading, writing, or enjoying the Malibu climate.
