Why did you want to become a member of Her Campus Western?

I wanted to become a member of Her Campus Western because I enjoy writing and wanted to be part of a club that interests me. I also wanted to meet other members and make lasting friendships that would last through my time at university. All of the members of Her Campus Western are the most down to earth, kind, genuine and fun women to be around that I have met at Western.

Where is the first place you’d like to travel to once isolation ends?

Once the quarantine is lifted I would love to travel to Florida. I really enjoy the hot weather, palm trees, listening to the relaxing waves, collecting seashells and swimming in the ocean. I wish that I lived in Florida all year round because I don’t enjoy our Canadian winters.

Where do you see yourself in twenty years?

In twenty years, I see myself being happily married with twins and three dogs. My family would be living in an oceanfront beach house on North Redington Beach, Florida. I don’t know what I will be doing for my profession. I do know that it will be a job that I can work remotely online. That way I can enjoy lots of free time with my family and enjoy relaxing on the beautiful beach that we live on.

Who is your biggest inspiration?

I dressed up for Swift’s Reputation Stadium Tour.

My biggest inspiration is Taylor Swift. I’ve been a fan of her music since I was seven years old. Just like me, she believes in advocating for equality, women’s rights, treating people with kindness, standing up for minority groups, and voting during elections. With the power of her music, she has connected people from all around the world that are all very unique. She shows us that life is not about trying to survive the rocky storm but it is about dancing fearlessly and graciously through the rain while having Taylor Swift songs playing as the background songs to our lives.
