Some of us are born confrontational. Some of us would rather dig a hole to bury themselves in than ever be involved in an argument (I’m calling myself out here). And for those of you who are simply the fire-starter type, being in an argument that you created can be a definite power move.
Even more of a power move? Walking away, only to leave the fire unextinguished.
There’s a certain power that comes with having an fight on your own terms. By leaving an argument unfinished, you’re able to detach yourself from the situation: leaving your opponent feeling angry, confused, and even more frustrated before. Maybe you just got bored, maybe you got the reaction you wanted out of someone, or maybe you just don’t feel like engaging in a fight anymore. In any case, sometimes walking away can be the perfect end to any argument. Period.

Aries:
Come on, are you surprised? Aries desires to be first, so they’re not above fighting their way through a conversation to get what they want. But, according to astrologer Linda Furiate, “The fire in an Aries may quickly diminish once they have conquered their goal, or simply because the novelty of going after what they want eludes them.”
Known for aggressive, blunt, and impatient behavior, an Aries will back out of the fight just as quickly as they started it. What the heck, Aries?! You can’t just walk out of this one because you’re bored!
Libra:
Libra, on the other hand, is less likely to start a fight themselves but will absolutely jump in when necessary. Ruled by Venus, Libras are known for being cordial and gentle, but things can turn petty once the claws come out.
“This well-balanced native will step up to fight when injustice seeks to tip their scales,” Furiate says. “When a Libra is engaged in a fight, the desire is slanted toward equality and to be heard, rather than winning a battle.” They’ll easily walk away once their opponent becomes willing to think beyond themselves.
Aquarius:
Analytical and intelligent, Aquarians will start a fight specifically to throw someone else off their game. “They marvel in the idea of rattling the mind of a (perceived) less intelligent soul,” Furiate says. “Their main goal in a battle of words is to prove that they are the smartest. Once they have shaken the wits of another, they are most likely to bolt.”
