Spring break officially ended and I’m back in good ole’ Raleigh. And back on my workout regimen. I must confess – I wasn’t as dedicated as I had planned to be during my stay at the beach. Morning runs to the boardwalk somehow turned into mimosas’ on the porch – did I mention we were oceanfront? I know I know no excuse, right? And since my mind and spirit were left on the beach I thought it might be helpful to give you my top 3 poundless partying pointers!
1. If you have the ability to do your own cooking – do it! Not only is it cheaper, but also you can control what you’re eating. Look up healthy recipes on SELF!
2. Bring walking shoes and a pedometer [Like Mine!]. Even if a gym isn’t available you can still keep track of the number of steps you take. Make it into a game and try to get a higher number of steps each day!
3. If you are of legal age, and decide to drink alcohol. Try using Crystal Light as a mixer its only 5 calories and they have a variety of different flavors! Check out their facebook page here!
